Bielenda Professional X-Foliate Basic 15% Shikimic Acid pH 2,1% 5ml

15% Shikimic Acid organic chemical compound from the group of hydroxy carboxylic acids obtained from star anise.

• Increases hydration, reduces TEWL (transepidermal water loss).
• Has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and antibacterial properties.
• Has an exfoliating effect without causing irritation
• Modulator of the regulation of epidermal proliferation disorders – does not dry the skin or irritate it.
• Does not leave a feeling of dryness and roughness.

Clinical studies show that a 5% solution of shikimic acid has a similar effect to a 50% solution of glycolic acid, but it works very gently, without irritating or drying the skin.

Intended use: dry, rough, dull skin, uneven skin tone and structure, acne lesions, excessive sebum production, photo-ageing, grey, problematic.

Herpes, tendency to keloids,
Severe forms of acne,
Condition during or up to 6 months after retinoid therapy,
Condition 6 months after surgery or cryotherapy in the treatment area, o Numerous melanocytic nevi or dilated blood vessels,
Systemic diseases,
Freshly tanned skin,
Skin damage and irritation, thinning of the epidermis, freshly depilated skin.

How to use:

cleanse the skin,
apply the product with a brush, avoiding sensitive areas,
apply the preparation in layers, adapting to the sensitivity of the skin and the planned treatment cycle,
After the specified time, neutralise the effect of the preparation and rinse thoroughly.
